RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the responsible administrator, assist in the administration, coordination and fiscal analysis of General Fund Unrestricted and Restricted budgets; participate in fiscal year budget preparation of total revenue and expenditures of the general fund; perform a variety of complex accounting analysis and reporting.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field and four years of increasingly responsible professional-level experience in accounting in a community college or related District-level school setting. Please note that government/public related accounting experience may be considered.

DESIRED QUALIFICATION: Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or other professional designation related to accounting.

SALARY & BENEFITS:
Range 37, Steps 1-6, $5,801.00-$7,058.00. Initial placement for external applicants is Step 1. An excellent benefits package which includes medical, vision, dental, retirement, vacation, generous sick leave package, and life insurance is available for the employee and eligible dependents.

WORKING DAYS & HOURS:
Monday-Friday: 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (Approximately). Work schedule may be adjusted to meet the needs of the department.

STARTING DATE:
As soon as the successful candidate is identified and following the subsequent governing board approval.
