General Summary Provide equipment support to assigned sport programs. Handle all purchasing, receiving, issuing, returns, maintenance, and repairs of equipment for assigned sports. Assist in the development and monitoring of equipment budget pertaining to sports teams assigned.

Operate assigned equipment room, overseeing day to day operation and student workers employed in said room.

Required Qualifications 1. Bachelor's Degree
2. AEMA (Athletic Equipment Manager's Association) Certification (at least within 1 year of hire)
3. Working knowledge of repairing and maintaining athletic equipment
4. Valid driver's license
5. Ability to perform budgeting, purchasing, inventory and computer skills
6. Good interaction and communication skills, both oral and written
7. Managerial capabilities
8. Quality characteristics such as honesty, positive attitude and strong work ethic
9. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.
