DescriptionJob Purpose: Serve as the first point of contact for visiting guests and clients visiting Student Center, Stamps Commons, or West Village Dining Commons. Provide direction and participate in loading, transporting, and set-up and breakdown of event equipment such as tables, chairs, pipe-and-drape and audio/visual equipment. Major Responsibilities:

Schedule: Full-time
- Duties may include but are not limited to: Greet guests and respond to customer requests, such as event set up changes, equipment needs, and audio/ video assistance.
- Assist facility leadership with executing emergency response within the facility in the event of emergency.
- Lead and motivate a team of students in the absence of Operations and Events management.
- Operate a motor vehicle to move furniture and equipment. Perform maintenance and minor repairs of equipment.
- Place furniture and equipment onto assistive equipment (hand truck, forklift, etc.) and transfer to moving van, truck or within building. Unload at new location.
- Deliver, set-up and breakdown tables, chairs, stages, audio-visual equipment, and other needed equipment for use in campus events.
- Interact with and provide exceptional customer service to guests.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED Certificate
- Work Experience: One to two years job related experience
- Certifications: Valid Driver's License
- Skills: This job requires working knowledge and skills in staging processes and sequences, motor vehicle operation, use of hand tools and assembly skills; setting up audio/ video equipment, such as projectors, computers, audio systems, etc. Experience working with students ina leadership capacity. Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
