Gettysburg Colleges is currently seeking a full-time Food Production Worker, who is willing to go the extra mile in exchange for competitive wages, a robust benefits package and a work environment in a new state-of-the-art facility. Hours for this position are generally Sunday 11am-7:30pm; Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 7am-3:30pm. Days off are Wednesday and Saturday. Hours vary during non-academic times.

Qualifications

Position performs all necessary functions required to serve hot and cold menu items by following specific serving standards. High school diploma or equivalent is required. One to two years of food service experience is required. Previous experience in a fast paced food service environment is preferred, but not required. The successful candidate must have an understanding of food preparation techniques and procedures as well as a good understanding of safe food handling practices. The candidate must have the abilities to stand, walk and reach for prolonged periods of time; to work harmoniously with a variety of individuals; to follow written and oral instructions; to provide excellent customer service; to work when scheduled; to work overtime as required; and to exhibit flexibility by working in other areas of Dining Services when needed. The ability to obtain a Servsafe certification is required.
