Natureof Work:This classdescribes the entry level. Work is designed to train positions for a higherlevel in the class series. Although tasks are similar to those of thefully-operational level, assignments are structured and performed withdirection and assistance from others. Positions carry out established workprocesses and operations by learning to apply and follow procedures,techniques, rules, and regulations. Once training has been completed, theposition is to be moved to the next level. The CAPE is a nationallyaccredited centerpiece of educational and evaluation innovation, located on the Anschutz MedicalCampus of the University of Colorado Denver in 18,000 sf of state of the art space. At the core of the Center’s work is a dedication and passion to producing humanistic and scientifically groundedhealth professionals, using innovative methodsto educate and evaluate the essential skills needed by these professionals to serve the citizens of Colorado and beyond. The Center also conducts researchon the nature and qualityof communication between patients and health care professionals, cultureand medicine, interprofessional education, and many other areas. Thisposition will assist primarily with the proctoring of events at the CAPE.Additional responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation andclean up after events, inventory and restocking of supplies and some dataentry. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- One (1) year of administrative, clerical, customer services orrelated experience.
Substitution: College or university course work appropriate to the workassignment, may substitute on a year for year basis for the experience.
Preferred Qualifications:- Previous experience with proctoring high-stakes exams.
- Previous experience working in a higher-education academicenvironment.
- Must have basic computer skills and be comfortable learning newsoftware.
- Abilityto communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
- Abilityto establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at alllevels throughout the institution.
- Outstandingcustomer service skills.
- Demonstratedcommitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion.
