Manage all aspects of the Garnet and Gold Scholar Society (GGSS) program administrative process, including monitoring the online portal system and overseeing technical enhancements, performing website updates, coordinating overall program advisor participation, and supporting engagement area contacts. Provide ongoing training opportunities and materials to campus partners. Conduct assessment activities and report outcomes to inform current and future GGSS programming. Manage student experience in the Garnet & Gold Scholar Society, including: approval of student applications, student removal and appeal process, marketing, and outreach.
Provide advising to participating students, and assist students through completion of their experience. Supervise and oversee a graduate assistant and interns. Provide oversight and support of graduate assistant/intern responsibilities, including semesterly induction ceremonies and receptions, campus partner recognition events, drop-in advising and individual student meetings, and outreach, student programming and marketing. Provide outreach presentations, programming, career advising, and support for the Career Center events and services. Conduct Career Center presentations at FSU Orientation sessions. Assist in managing the online Career Portfolio program including outreach presentations, coordination of the annual contest. Act as liaison to a specified college or department, including providing specialized programming, outreach, resource development, and career advising to that liaison area.Qualifications Bachelor's degree and two years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of student program planning, development, and evaluation.
Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
Knowledge of student programs and activities.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
