Physical Requirements

This position requires occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds and loading and/or unloading supplies and materials onto carts. Sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and repetitive motion tasks.


Primarily Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; some weekends and evening activities may be required as needed.

Job Summary

This position will serve as Assistant Director for the Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Nutrition Education Program. The Assistant Directors duties will include but are not limited to; supervise the development, delivery, and evaluation of the Nutrition Education Program including program assistant direct education, supervision system, delivery oversight, staff development, and collaborations with state and community partners.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Leadership, program and budget management.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education/Experience

Experience in leadership, supervision, grant management, Cooperative Extension Service, programming, and evaluation.

Driver’s license preferred.
