Sitting for extended periods of time, possible light lifting, traversing to and from university buildings.


Days, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Additional hours possible during peak times as necessary.

Job Summary

The College of Public Health is seeking a Graduate Program Coordinator to support the MHA, DrPH, PhD in epidemiology/biostatistics and PhD in gerontology programs. This person will support the respective faculty program directors in all aspects of the student life cycle, including recruitment success, application and admission results, graduate program enrollment and retention, student academic progress, and graduate outcomes. The coordinator will provide initial academic advising to DrPH students and provide administrative support to the MHA Director for internship placement and integrated final exam. In support of the Director of Practice and Experiential Education, this person will coordinate public health workforce development activities. The coordinator will lead or participate in student engagement and student success initiatives and contribute to planning and implementation of College graduation events.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), Database experience and Internet. Must have attention to detail, planning, strong oral and written communication as well as organization skills.
