The UNC Division of Nephrology and Hypertension, Department of Medicine, is currently seeking a Clinical Assistant Professor with training and interest in transplant nephrology. Duties include, but are not limited to, inpatient and outpatient care of kidney and pancreas transplant recipients, evaluation of recipient and donor candidates, and inpatient rotations on the nephrology consult service and inpatient nephrology service. Teaching responsibilities include regular teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows In addition, other teaching responsibilities are shared with Division members including conferences, AHEC activities, and continuing medical education programs related to clinical interests.Educational Requirements
Candidates should have a medical degree, be board certified or board eligible in nephrology, and have completed a transplant nephrology fellowship certified by the American Society of Transplantation.Qualifications and Experience
Training and interest in transplant nephrology, pursuit of academic research and/or administrative interests in the field of transplantation.Equal Opportunity Employer
