Summary

The Collegiate Recovery Community Manager is part of the Tulane University Campus Health team of committed professionals dedicated to supporting and promoting student health and wellbeing as a core institutional value through a multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach. The Collegiate Recovery Community Manager is housed within the Well for Health Promotion, and reports to the Director of Public Health Initiatives and Assessment. The individual in this position is responsible for providing leadership and coordination of the Tulane Collegiate Recovery Community.

The Collegiate Recovery Community Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Tulane Collegiate Recovery Community.  This position provides individual and group support, social events and activities, community engagement, for a community of students in recovery or seeking sobriety.  This position will also facilitate referrals for students in recovery or students seeking sobriety to both on and off campus resources as needed.  The Collegiate Recovery Community Program Manager provides critical support services for students in recovery with a focus on student development, leadership, community engagement, and helping students navigate their curricular and co-curricular experience while exploring or sustaining sobriety.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling Education, Counseling and Guidance Services, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field and two years of directly related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience in a collegiate recovery community setting
  • Master's degree
