Post Doc Fellow - Pharmacology and Systems Physiology
The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine Department of Pharmacology and Systems Physiology is seeking a postdoctoral fellow. The postdoctoral fellow will work with different model platforms including 3-dimensional organoids and mouse models to investigate functional roles of circadian rhythms in the gastrointestinal system. He/she will perform various tasks including: construction of fluorescent and bioluminescent reporters, targeted mutations, generation of mouse and human intestinal enteroids, lentivirus transfection, etc. He/she will also collect, analyze, and troubleshoot fluorescent and bioluminescent data from the experimental platforms subjected to pharmacological and genetic perturbations.
Minimum Qualifications:· Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D., required. ·Requires an in-depth knowledge of a specialized field, process, or discipline.·Good oral and written communication skills.·Ability to work and collaborate effectively with students, faculty and staff from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with molecular and cellular biology.
