College of Arts & SciencesThe College of Arts and Sciences Academic Services Office has an immediate need for a dependable undergraduate student staff member for our Information Desk. The Academic Services Office is committed to fostering a culture of inclusion in which diversity can thrive for all members within the University community. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Respond to information desk telephone inquiriesGreet students, staff and others in person.Schedule Advisor Appointments using Starfish and OutlookGuide Students in Starfish Blackboard scheduling and check-in kiosk for appointments.Assist students in form completion including Drop/Add, Grade Replacements, Change of College,Readmission, Dual Degree and Cross College Major forms.Special projects as assigned by Undergraduate Affairs StaffMiscellaneous office duties including restocking forms, stuffing packets and answering emails.
- Recipient of a work study awardEnrolled at least part-time (6 credit hours for undergraduate students) with the exception of summer quarter, or will be a registered student during the next academic quarter/semester for summer work. Student workers must meet the enrollment requirement for the entire quarter.Age 16 or older.
- Preference will be given to undergraduate A&S degree program studentsExcellent customer service and communication skillsArticulate, professional and responsibleAbility to manage confidential information with complete discretionWilling to work breaks and summerPositive and respectful
