Position Summary

The Enrollment Services Manager for the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS) focuses on several aspects of enrollment management for both prospective and current students, including managing the scheduling process, supporting prospective graduate student recruitment and admissions, and providing current student services. Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Academics and Communication, this position requires both data management and excellent communication and relationship building to support our students and our departments. The manager builds strong relationships with our departments and with prospective students. They work closely with the Assistant Dean to manage internal scheduling processes, including analyzing departmental schedules, tracking curriculum-related data, building and extracting reports, ensuring adherence to policies and best practices, training new departmental staff members, and supporting long- and short-term trends analyses in the college. They also provide graduate student recruitment and admissions support to CAHSS departments based on individual departments needs. This includes communicating with prospective students; working in the Slate admissions CRM regularly to enter information into student records, build and send email communications, and extract reports; and communicating with departments regarding recruitment and admissions processes. The manager uses various databases to enter, extract, track, and report data and communicate effectively about a wide variety of information related to enrollment to various audiences including departmental staff, faculty, department chairs, central offices, and senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • 2-3 years experience related to enrollment management or recruitment/admissions processes and/or providing support in an academic area, or relevant transferable skills and experience.
  • Experience working with data sets and/or working with a CRM.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework addressing data analysis, and/or masters degree or graduate coursework.
  • Experience in a university area relevant to the job duties, preferably in the arts, humanities and/or social sciences.
  • Experience using Slate and/or Banner.
  • Experience working with multiple components of a CRM entering and extracting data, building and extracting reports, using dashboards, organizing data, troubleshooting and QCing output of data.

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Some nights and weekends as needed.

Salary Range:
Salary will be determined by the qualifications of the selected candidate balanced with departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information.
