Position Title Assistant Professor/Instructor of History - Statesboro Position Number Job Description Summary
Full-time faculty at East Georgia State College, Statesboro, teach 15 semester credit hours on and/or off campus, day and/or evening. In addition to teaching, faculty are responsible for scholarly and professional development, service to the institution and community, academic advisement, and instructional assessment.
Major Duties Knowledge Required by the Position
Candidates should be committed to the two-year college mission, with a primary interest in the teaching/learning process as related to the two-year college student at an open access institution. Commitment to excellent student advising is essential. Competence in electronic communications, as well as distance learning, is desired. Willingness to teach a variety of courses will also augment the suitability of the candidate.

Masters degree with a minimum of eighteen graduate semester credit hours of subject specific work in the teaching field required.
