Physical Requirements

Requires heavy lifting, pushing or pulling of objects over 50 pounds.


Monday – Friday, 7am-3pm, but will vary (including weekends) depending upon group rental and summer camp schedules. Occasional overtime.

Job Summary

The College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Lake Cumberland 4-H Center, in Nancy Kentucky, seeks a Building Operator I. This position plays a vital role in the maintenance and repair of 4-H Center facilities and equipment. The Center hosts conferences and meetings year round as well as approximately 3,000 4-H youth campers each summer. It is imperative that we provide a safe and well-maintained environment for all those that use the center facilities.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Requires skill/knowledge of carpentry, electricity, plumbing, operation of gas powered equipment, grounds maintenance.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience

Two years of experience preferred
