The Senior Enterprise Business Technology Analyst is a key member of the Enterprise Information Systems team. They will collaborate with all areas of the University regarding the efficient, effective and visionary use of technology to shape and enhance the technology experience. The successful candidate must be committed to fostering a welcoming environment for a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff.

Essential Responsibilities:
•Lead stakeholders in defining key capabilities and requirements that will enable clear definition of business strategy. Elicit business and functional requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process mapping, use case scenarios, and task and workflow analysis.
•Develop, interpret, review, validate and maintain business and functional requirements documents for our technology initiatives. Deliver the following artifacts as needed: (Including Functional requirements, Business Requirements Document, Use Cases and product roadmaps.
•Work closely with the Enterprise Technology team and project management to build well defined goals, requirements, resource needs, timelines and deliverables to ensure a strategic approach moving technology forward.
•Build excellent relationships with multiple customer tiers, i.e. faculty, staff, leadership, students and vendors. Conduct structured walk-throughs of requirements and design with business and project team members.
•Assist with researching opportunities to minimize complexity and customization by leveraging current IT investments and seeking out effective and efficient solutions. Diagnose problems and identify opportunities for process redesign and improvement.
•Remain up-to-date on emerging technology solutions in order to meet the changing needs of the enterprise portfolio and expectations.

Minimum Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Business, Technology or related field
•4+ years’ experience in advancing the student experience in a higher education setting through the use of technology
•Knowledge in aligning student technology architecture, data security awareness, accessibility and a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion
•Demonstrated project management and collaboration skills as well as technology administration skills
•Demonstrated interest, capacity and success in managing technology related projects
•Detail-oriented
•Strong communication skills (written and oral) and have strong facilitation skills
