Under direction of the Director of Enterprise Information Systems, the Enterprise Systems Manager is responsible for driving innovation and improving delivery effectiveness in an environment of growing demand for product development across a diverse mix of technologies, protocols, standards and platforms. This position will work across all areas of the campus supporting the strategic vision, goals and opportunity at Maryville by understanding and overseeing product solutions and product enhancements. They will work with Enterprise Information Systems and the Maryville community to build and maintain an innovative, cohesive enterprise technology ecosystem. The successful candidate must be committed to fostering a welcoming environment for a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff.

Essential Responsibilities:
•Manage enterprise technology product implementation, adoption, training, support, user experience and data insights with diverse stakeholders.
•For enterprise systems under their management, understand the full product solution, its capabilities, and how it is being used by Maryville in order to support users as well as provide analysis and recommendations regarding future uses and solutions.
•Interface with all areas of the University regarding the efficient, effective and visionary use of technology. Create and maintain an ongoing product roadmap to identify, sequence and prioritize vendor releases and user enhancement request.
•Work closely with the Enterprise Technology team and project management to build well defined goals, requirements, resource needs, timelines and deliverables to ensure a strategic approach in delivering new technology at Maryville. Address internal product management requirements associated with Maryville policies and procedures (security, vendor management, audit, compliance, etc.)
•Assist in defining and implementing technology strategies to positively impact key metrics (i.e.: graduation rates, student s satisfaction, student retention goals and time to degree).
•Provide regular scheduled communications and program deliverables to campus community and leadership regarding progress on solutions under their management as well as measureable metric towards those goals.
•Participate/Lead one or more advisory groups designed to collaboratively and strategically advance the use of technology.

Minimum Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Communication or related field
•5+ years’ experience in managing and delivering strategic and innovative technology solutions
•Experience utilizing project management skills
•Demonstrated interest, capacity and success in managing technology related projects, detail-oriented, strong communication skills (written and oral) and strong facilitation and collaboration skills
