The Department of Romance Studies is inviting applications for a one-year appointment and that appointment will carry a five-course load (2:3 or 3:2). Applicants would be teaching Elementary French, Intermediate French and/or French Conversation courses each semester, depending on the needs of the department.

Compensation will be $7,500 per course (totaling $37,500) with benefits.

This position has a possibility of renewal, which will be determined in early Spring 2020.

Educational Requirements

Must have a PhD in Romance Studies, French and Francophone Studies, or related field.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will have native or near-native fluency in French. Previous experience teaching language in a higher education context preferred.
