Finance Analyst

This position is only available to current UCI employees.

Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Finance, the incumbent is responsible for a wide variety of financial, operational, and administrative functions: process reimbursements (DV, ENT, and TR) for all administrative units in the Dean's Office, perform centralized review and approval for reimbursement requests within the school, act as initiator and contract manager to assist in the acquisition of equipment, supplies, and services for all units, programs, and centers in the Dean's Office.

This position also has primary responsibility for advising faculty and staff within the school on University policies pertain to travel, entertainment, and procurement. Responsible for interpretation and application of appropriate policies and procedures to process, review, and approve reimbursement requests. Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills are required to interact with all levels of central administration, faculty, staff, and vendors.

This incumbent is responsible for accounting, reconciliation, reporting, and budgeting of all assigned accounts. The incumbent understands and can apply generally accepted accounting principles, cost accounting standards, and University policies and procedures.

Salary: Range $23.58-32.06
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
