Senior Counseling Psychologist - LGBTQ

The emphasis of this position is on direct services to students as a generalist counseling psychologist and the position specializes in the services including, but not limited to, working with LGBTQ Student populations. Conduct initial assessments, time limited individual, couple and group psychotherapy; urgent care services; crisis response; consultation and outreach in a university counseling center. This position would be responsible for overseeing the LGBT Mentoring program, which is one of three Peer Programs housed in our center. This position would also serve as the direct liaison to the LGBT Resource Center on campus. They would assist in generating programs, workshops, groups, and services targeting the UCI LGBTQ student population. Provide supervision and training within an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited psychology doctoral internship program. Participate in meetings and Center research and evaluation.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
Career Position.
This position's schedule is generally M-F during traditional work hours. However, weekends or non-traditional work hours may be required for special projects, at busy times of the year, or when strict deadlines must be met.

Hiring is contingent upon verification of licensure, successful completion of credentialing background check, and successful completion of privileging process.
Final candidate subject to background check.
