A Ph.D. in Information Systems or a related area is required or must be obtained within the first academic year of employment.Preferred Qualifications
Candidates who have already obtained their Ph.D. are preferred, but ABD’s will be considered. Candidates should be proficient in face to face and online teaching for undergraduate and graduate students. The ideal candidate will be able to teach in the area of software development. Secondary teaching areas are flexible, may be at the undergraduate or graduate level, and can include subjects such as software development methods, databases, systems analysis, IS strategy, survey of information systems, etc. A focused research agenda with an established record of publication or strong potential for publication is expected.Primary Function of Organizational Unit
Congdon School of Supply Chain, Business Analytics and Information Systems supports the Bachelor of Science with concentrations in Business Analytics, Information Systems and Supply Chain Management, and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. At the graduate level, the School supports the Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems and Master of Science in Business Analytics.College/School Information
