Adjunct Faculty – Digital Media Technology – Web Design I
Engages students in the teaching/learning process; works assigned schedule, represents the College in the community, and performs other related duties as required including:
•An introduction to Hypertext Markup Language (HTML 5 and CSS3) and HTML editing software packages (Notepad++).
•Instruct students on building a basic responsive web site (mobile, tablet and desktop friendly) that includes pages with text, lists, links, graphics, tables, image maps, and forms.
•Web site management through HTML editor software and ftp methods will also be taught along with a beginning emphasis on scripting (Java and PHP).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Plans and teaches courses that fulfill the current curriculum goals and objectives.
Remains current with subject matter and instructional methodology.
Employs appropriate assessment techniques to measure student performance in
achieving course goals and objectives.
Communicates progress in the course to students and Lead Faculty in a timely manner.
Determines and submits students' grades in accordance with established College policies and procedures.
Supports the mission of the program, division, and College.
Other Skills and Abilities:•Ability to effectively communicate one-on-one, in small groups, and in classroom situations.
•Proficient in word-processing and presentation software, internet, and e-mail.

Required Education and/or Work Experience:•Bachelor's Degree in Media, Web Design, Communication, Education in Learning Design, Digital Arts, or experience/graduate work in related field required.
•Minimum of two years teaching experience required, preferably at the college level.
