Under minimal supervision, the analyst provides complex analytical support for the functional areas within Transplant Services. Responsible for managing data collection, review, validation, analysis and reporting of statistical information and patient outcomes to both internal and external customers. Performs chart/database audits to ensure thorough documentation according to regulatory and accrediting requirements.

Manages the transplant services database and the online database for the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) for transplant candidates and donors. Conducts monthly audits to monitor department compliance with regulatory requirements. Review, analyze, and summarize monthly reports as requested, utilizing Crystal Reports and EPIC Clarity. Initiates and participates in ongoing quality improvement projects. Performs other related duties as required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or a combination of comparable clinical education and/or experience.

• A minimum of three (3+) or more years of relevant experience.

• Experience and proven success in QI standards, clinical chart review and abstraction, and regulatory requirements.
