Physical Requirements

This position requires occasional lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds. Occasional loading/unloading of materials for conferences, etc.


Monday through Friday, some weekends and evening activities may be required as needed.

Job Summary

This position provides supervision, training and evaluation of paraprofessionals delivering nutrition education programs to limited resource audiences. In addition, it also provides support to county supervising agents and serves as a resource for teaching materials and nutrition information for all agents on SNAP-Ed delivery. Develops community partnerships that facilitate effective outreach to limited resource audiences. Office is located at 1500 Bull Lea Road, Lexington, KY.
Region served by this position will include Extension District 4.

Computer, communication and personnel.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education/Experience

Preferred Master’s degree in Nutrition, Family & Consumer Sciences or related field. Experience in Cooperative Extension Service.
