Job Details
NATURE OF WORK: Middle Georgia State University (MGA), a Unit of the University System of Georgia, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Psychology (with an open area of specialization) to begin in Fall (August) 2019. This position involves teaching a 4/4 course load, scholarship, student advisement, and service. Travel among our campuses is expected.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The successful candidate for this position must hold a Ph.D in Psychology (ABD considered as long as degree is conferred by August 2019) and is able to teach a variety of Psychology courses, which are very popular among our students. Area of specialization is open. The department values intellectual diversity and seeks colleagues who can work collaboratively with people from a variety of viewpoints and backgrounds. Teaching responsibilities will include day and/or evening classes, online and/or hybrid courses. Experience with online and/or hybrid delivery will be a plus.
