The faculty member will engage students in the teaching/learning process, work assigned schedule, and perform other related duties as required.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-Plan and teach courses which fulfill the current curriculum goals and objectives.
-Remain current with subject matter and instructional methodology.
-Employ appropriate assessment techniques to measure student performance in achieving course goals and objectives.
-Communicate progress in the course to students in a timely manner.
-Determine and submit students' grades in accordance with established college policies and procedures.
-Support the mission of the program, division, and college.
-Conduct academic assessment activities as needed.
Other Skills and Abilities:-Comfortable with Information Technology.
-Ability to work with a diverse group of students.
-Skilled in teaching a wide range of related subjects.
-Effective verbal and written communication skills.
-Effective problem solving skills.
-Ability to work a combination of days/evening/weekend schedules.
Required Education and/or Work Experience:-Master's Degree in economics or related field (including at least 18 graduate semester hours in economics) which supports teaching of microeconomics or macroeconomics is required.
-An exceptional teacher with two years of college-level teaching or business and industry training preferred.
