Duties of Position:

Responsible for performing general office work including typing, answering telephones and assisting faculty and students.

Maintains records of faculty work orders received and completed.

Acts as receptionist, answers telephones and greets visitors. Takes and distributes messages. Answers questions and provides information.

Assists faculty with operation of office equipment.

Tracks and maintains up-to-date records of all syllabi, grade books, and adjunct availability forms for the division.

Notifies students of withdrawn classes and posts signs by classrooms regarding cancellations, room changes, etc.

Assists with orientation of new evening Adjunct Faculty into the Division and explains various office Procedures.

Coordinates faculty mailboxes each semester.

Provides administrative support for the Kappa Beta Delta society.

Maintains and monitors the division’s email and faxes.

Assists with print shop order approvals for the division.

Assists with special projects as needed.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent experience with minimum 55 wpm typing.

Experience Requirements: One year general office experience with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel) required.
