Our group is seeking a candidate for a post-doctoral position in a groundbreaking area of diabetes research. The candidate will use genetic, molecular and physiological tools to study mice with conditional knockouts of steroid hormones receptors as well as human cell culture models in highly controlled environments. The applicant will gain a full understanding of the biological processes at the root of obesity, insulin resistance, beta-cell dysfunction and diabetes, and the ability to modulate sex steroid actions can have a therapeutic impact on these diseases.
