Nurse Manager AC– Duke University Hospital – Clinic 1L Neuro Center Clinic
Duke University Health System- Duke University Hospital seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse who will embrace our mission of Advancing Health Together.

Work Hours & Shifts:
Full Time:  40 hours per week, Day shifts with full responsibility of clinic operations as needed

Job Summary:
Manage and supervise functions of assigned patient care area on a Full time basis; ensure effective delivery of clinical patient care and compliance with administrative and clinical policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience Required:
·      3 years of nursing experience.
·      Bachelor's degree required.
Licensure, Certification or Registration Required:
·      Current registration with North Carolina State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse OR current compact RN licensure to practice in the state of North Carolina required.
·      BLS (or higher) certification required.
·      Professional specialty certification (preferred).

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. Master's degree in Nursingstrongly preferred.


Three years of nursing experience is required.

Degrees, Licensures, Certifications

Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of NorthCarolina. BCLS certification required.Nurses hired into leadership positions must obtain a leadershipcertification within three months of hire. New nurse leaders who areineligible to sit for an exam because they have not been working in aleadership role for the minimum amount of time required must completetheir certification within three months of becoming eligible.
