Job Details
English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Class Description: These courses are designed to successfully transition English language learners into college credit courses. The EAP program consists of low intermediate, high intermediate, advanced, and capstone courses in Reading/Writing, Grammar, and Listening/Speaking. EAP courses are offered at the Arnold, Glen Burnie, and Arundel Mills campuses.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:Duties include classroom instruction, designing a syllabus, creating an online gradebook on the Canvas platform, grading, submitting student support referrals as needed, completing performance assessment task evaluations, and other tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications:Master's degree in TESOL or related field.
Minimum of one year experience teaching ESL/EFL to adults in higher education.
Experience using technology to teach ESL.
