Teaches undergraduate or graduate level courses, as needed.

Essential Duties Summary:

Teaches undergraduate or graduate level courses, as needed. Provide academic advising for students. Develop syllabus and teaching materials. Assist with projects, research, and other departmental programs.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.

% FTE:

50%

Commensurate with experience.

Education:

Requires a Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in the discipline of the posted position or a closely related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must have the ability to use personal computers and Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Access. Must have a positive attitude. Must have knowledge of basic office functions. Must have the ability to make sound decisions with the support of the Department Chair and faculty, determine strategy in next steps and processes, and handle multiple request or assignments effectively.

Work Experience:

Must have prior teaching experience in a higher education environment. Must have excellent verbal and communication skills. Must be able to work with a diverse student and faculty population.
