Working Title Program Coordinator - Diversity & Inclusion
Job Summary
Eastern Washington University is currently seeking applicants for a 75%, 10 month Program Coordinator with the Office of Diversity & Inclusion. The candidate will need exceptional organization and event planning skills. A passion for Diversity Outreach and Programming Initiatives both on and off campus is a must. This position will also need experience in tracking projects, Microsoft Office and knowledge of general office procedures. Conditions of Employment

Required Qualifications:- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the program specialty, defined as experience-coordinating diversity programs involving students, faculty, staff and or community members.
- Equivalent education and/or experience will substitute for the program specialty requirement.
- Candidate must demonstrate interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency, universal accessibility and/or diversity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in higher education
- Demonstrated expertise in the coordination and implementation of programs or events.
- Demonstrated initiative with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with diverse programs and understanding of underrepresented populations
