Makes academic judgment on behalf of the academic dean for requests such as transient student applications, TCC/FAMU Co-Op, the one late drop allowance for upper division students, withdrawals before grade liability is incurred, CLASS waivers, and reinstatements. Maintains confidential records of all academic matters. Communicates information about upcoming deadlines to upper division students. Compiles and enters statistical reports regarding student characteristics and maintains longitudinal graduation data.

Ensures that all requirements for graduation, including completion of college Staying Connected survey, have been met by graduating students, Represents the College at the Council for Associate and Assistant Deans meetings.

Oversees operation of the reception area of the Center. Recruits, trains and supervises the receptionist and any student assistants who work in this area and in their absence mans the reception area.

Coordinates and plans all events handled by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Works with Associate Dean and College Scholarship Committee to ensure the eligibility of undergraduate College scholarship applicants. Handles notifications and participates in the disbursement process.

Coordinates orientation sessions for transfer students and FTIC, Prepares and presents segments on student responsibility. Maintains informational packet for new students online.Qualifications Bachelor's degree and two years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.

Ability to use Microsoft Office programs and scheduling software.

Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Ability to effectively train and direct the work of others.Preferred Experience with Student Central and Business Intelligence.
