Position Summary:

The Dissemination and Implementation (D&I) - Launchpad Team is a consultation service of Institute for Clinical and Translational Research - Community Academic Partnership (ICTR-CAP) that provides resources to bridge the gap between research and practice. We are a team of six and work in the growing and innovative field of research - Dissemination and Implementation Science - collaborating with research teams to address challenges and harness opportunities that lead to sustainable practice and improved health outcomes. The Research / Administrative Program Specialist will be supporting the D&I team with various dissemination and implementation projects that involve health innovation research. This position will work under the direction of the D&I Program Manager.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's Degree required. Preferred in biological / physical sciences or education or social sciences or health care related field.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Required:
-Minimum 1 year experience required providing administrative support in a public health, community or clinical health care setting. Experience in clinical or health or social research environment is desirable.
-Proficiency in database management (Redcap or Excel or Access).
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
-Excellent verbal and written skills.

Preferred:
-Experience in WordPress and social media tools.
-Experience in Adobe Creative Suite / Microsoft Publisher.
-Experience with meeting and event scheduling.

Prefix assignment determined by years of relevant work experience.

A minimum of 7 years' experience is required for appointment at the senior level.

Additional Information:

Occasional travel will be required.
