The Communication and Reporting Manager works in close collaboration with the Associate Vice President for Institutional Research and Analysis to manage workflow, respond to routine requests for information and ensure that others are referred to the appropriate IR&A analyst. The incumbent prepares federal, state, accreditation, and other external reports on behalf of the University. The Manager also aids and supports the strategic work of the Associate Vice President through departmental strategic planning efforts and collaboration with University committees and councils. The Manager oversees, enhances, and updates institutional research tools utilized for project management, data collection systems/software, recordkeeping and retrieval, and departmental email account. The Manager also provides quality control by reviewing information prepared or disseminated by IR&A for accuracy and consistency with departmental standards. Additionally, the Manager designs and oversees the development of formal presentations and materials disseminated by IR&A to ensure that they are accurate, accessible and consistently formatted.Qualifications
BA/BS and 3-5 years of work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) required.
Advanced design, layout, and formatting experience with Excel and MS Office Suite required; experience with other software such as Adobe Create Suite / Creative Cloud preferred. Demonstrated ability to finalize report for submission or posting online
Critical and independent analytical thinking skills required
Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills required
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the demonstrated ability to track, document, and advance multiple projects concurrently required
Proven ability to work under time constraints while adhering to strict deadlines is required
*Flexibility to work collaboratively or independently as needed
