he Ag Business Instructor will be an adjunct faculty member in the Agriculture Department. Duties will include the following: developing and teaching agriculture business courses; identifying resource needs and opportunities with other faculty to help guide program outcomes, structure and connectedness; encouraging and utilizing community partnerships and collaborations that support the program. Faculty members are expected to engage with students inside and outside the classroom.Reports ToDirector of AgricultureEducation/Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in an academic discipline focused toward ag business or related area and/or a master’s degree with 18 graduate level credits in ag business or economics.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of economics, computers and agriculture.
Familiarity with experiential learning and learner-centered educational philosophies.
Commitment to the community college mission.
Abilities and Skills:
Ability to teach courses in ag business, economics with an ag focus.
Ability to use a variety of teaching methods and materials that assist student learning.
Ability to work with a broad spectrum of student abilities.
Ability to support and expand community outreach and collaborations.
Excellent communication skills.

Teaching experience, preferably at the undergraduate level.
