Job Summary

The Department of Music & Dramatic Arts at Georgia Southwestern State University invites applications for the position of Lecturer of Music to begin August 1, 2019. Primary responsibilities will include directing the Concert Band and teaching courses in and coordinating the Music Education program. Other courses may include Instrumental Techniques, Applied Music, Music Appreciation, and Music History, according to interest and departmental needs. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to a small but vibrant undergraduate program in music. This is a one year appointment.

Required Qualifications

•Masters in Music or Music Education.
•Public school or university teaching experience.
