This opportunity is created to provide real exposure to food science research and food processing that will help you achieve your educational and career goals. You will have an excellent opportunity to work with other food scientists in exciting areas of product development and novel plant-based ingredient processing. There will be opportunities to conduct your own research as assigned by food scientist based on education and experience level.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position

BS in Food Science or closely related field.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Physical Demands

Very limited exposure to physical risk. Very limited physical effort required although some lifting of light weight boxes is envisioned. Bend and lift at least 40 pounds and work in a food pilot-plant and laboratory setting for multiple hours a day.
