Our summer courses are rigorous and engaging within the undergraduate curriculum so that students working or pursuing experiential learning opportunities—such as internships or study abroad—can graduate in four years or less. The marketing manager develops, coordinates, implements, and evaluates centrally managed omnichannel marketing plans focused on increasing enrollment in online academic degrees, certificates and summer courses at the University of Georgia. This position is responsible for promoting a unified brand for online learning that embodies quality online education at UGA. You will act as the marketing account manager for the UGA schools and colleges that offer online programming, working collaboratively with them to build and execute integrated multichannel marketing plans that align with the online learning brand. Additionally, you will track ad performance, analyze data, and regularly report on campaign results presenting clear actionable data to the schools and colleges with recommendations for continuous campaign improvements. You will be responsible for ensuring that advertising maintains the integrity and continuity of UGA’s visual presence and that all work is conducted in a cost effective and efficient manner. To this end, you will direct creative for advertising, content marketing, and multimedia marketing. This position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager in the Office of Online Learning within the Office of Instruction.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Proven track record of strategically developing and delivering high ROI integrated multichannel marketing campaigns.
Experience developing multimedia content marketing strategies as part of a fully integrated marketing plan.
Strong communication skills both written and oral.
Exceptional people skills with the ability to instill confidence, trust, and establish positive working relationships with internal clients.
The ability to effectively manage outsourced resources.
Experience establishing accountability measures and tracking performance for a continuous improvement approach.
Proven ability to identify and understand target audiences.
Experience using CRM and marketing automation software.
