The University Of Virginia School Of Nursing seeks a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to serve as a clinical instructor of nursing for a part time, tenure-ineligible position. The Incumbent is responsible for supervising nurse practitioners in the Medical Center (practicum/seminar). Working among the nation's best nurse scholars, academics and students, the incumbent will prepare the next generation of nurses. This is an exciting opportunity to work at one of the nation's top facilities or in the vibrant communities that surround the university. The start date of this faculty position is August, 2019.

MSN in nursing is required by the start date of the appointment. PhD/DNP in Nursing, preferred. Applicants must have two years of previous experience in pediatric nursing and primary care. Applicants must have a  Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification or certificate eligibility.

Licensure in Virginia by the start date of the position is required.

This is a part time faculty appointment at 20 hours per week.
