24-Sep-2019 Close All Job SummaryFacilities Management welcomes applications for an LTC Custodian Trainee I (LTC Trainee I). This position exists to clean and sanitize facilities for the students, staff, faculty, and customers of the CU Boulder Campus by sweeping, mopping and/or vacuuming floors, cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, and stocking the restrooms with needed supplies. The timely removal of waste, and recyclable materials from classrooms, labs, offices, halls, and other areas using the area floor plans and our Employee Handbook.Who We AreFacilities Management is responsible for the overall physical development and maintenance of the campus. The mission of the department is to provide a safe physical environment that promotes the advancement and transfer of knowledge. We are currently looking for hardworking, reliable individuals to join our team.What Your Key Responsibilities Will BeAs an LTC Custodial Trainee, you will be responsible for learning the following: maintaining and cleaning building interiors and furnishings in state institutions, and facilities; following sanitary standards; washing, wiping, dusting, scrubbing, scouring, laundering, disinfecting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing surfaces, floors, walls, windows, lavatories, furnishings, and fabric; and collecting and disposing of trash.
Assignments may include keeping exterior walkways clear of debris and snow. Most positions operate on the Team Cleaning concept.
Floor crew trainee will be responsible for learning the following: use of specialized floor maintenance equipment, stripping, scrubbing and refinishing all types of floor surfaces; spot cleaning and extracting carpeting. Assignments may also include learning team cleaning duties and snow removal.What You Should KnowThis full-time position offers excellent benefits, including:

Starting Hourly Rate is $12.50.
