Senior Finance Analyst

Under general direction of the Department Administrator incumbent has responsibility for analysis, review, direction, and monitoring of federal contracts and grants, private gifts and grants, opportunity funds, unrestricted funds and set-up funds. Incumbent is responsible for the administrative management of post-award operations, including bookkeeping and accounting, purchasing, and all related functions and oversight of contract & grant pre-award. Requires extensive working knowledge and skill to apply University policies and procedures and agency and CAS guidelines to facilitate various transactions and apply related information in the areas of budget, finance, and contracts and grants administration. Working knowledge of UC on-line C&G and financial systems, general accounting principles and procedures in order to independently adjust, reconcile ledgers, monitor records of expense, and develop financial statements and reports on a monthly basis. Provide high level analysis and recommendation to the Department Administrator regarding all aspect of the financial operation of the unit.

Salary: Monthly $4,968.58 - $6,755.83
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
Career Position.
Irregular work schedule.
