Description

The department of African American Studies at UCLA, invites applications for temporary non-tenure track lecturer positions in 2019-20. Lectureship appointments are part time and made on a quarter by quarter basis as dictated by instructional needs and budget constraints of the department. Quarter academic appointment dates are as follows:

Fall: October 1-December 31st, 2019
Winter: January 1-March 31st, 2020
Spring: April 1-June 30th, 2020

We are particularly interested in candidates who are working transnationally, including on Africa and diaspora and whose scholarship and engagements are interdisciplinary.
