Tusculum University is seeking a professional level grant writer. Must have prior grant writing experience. Preference given to those with higher education grant writing experience, and a bachelor’s degree required.

This position will remain open until filled.


Candidates must support the University’s mission, strategic plan, goals, and objectives of the University and its community. Initiates, facilitates, coordinates and stewards relationships with private foundations at the national and regional level to maximize the philanthropic giving in support of institutional priorities. Reports to the Associate Vice President of Institutional Advancement. The successful candidate must be highly organized and will utilize superior communication skills and creativity in executing campus-wide strategies for seeking grant funding from companies and foundations in support of the mission of Tusculum University. Must be a self-motivated leader with an impeccable work ethic who is able to effectively translate the priorities of campus stakeholders into timely and successful grant proposals. The candidate must be willing to work in a team environment in the Office of Institutional Advancement, supporting and assisting with the efforts of the department.
