The Department of Management in the Haile/US Bank College of Business at Northern Kentucky University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Supply Chain/Operations Management to begin in August 2019 or thereafter. This aggressive timeline reflects our need to expand resources in support of rapid growth in the program.

Preferred candidates will hold a Ph.D. in Supply Chain/Operations Management or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited program at the time of appointment. ABDs with evidence of imminent completion will also be considered. Experience in industry, consulting, and/or executive education is strongly desired, as is an eagerness to support our growing undergraduate major program in Global Supply Chain Management.

Expectations for the successful candidate include: a commitment to teaching excellence at undergraduate and graduate levels, both in the classroom and online; the demonstrated ability to publish quality peer-reviewed academic research; engaged service; and a commitment and sensitivity to fostering a working and learning environment, which is supportive of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
