Position Summary: Seeking mature individual to assist in working various track & field meet, athletic events, conferences and other events hosted by the Center. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are needed. Good physical health and the ability to work flexible hours are a must.

Supervision Received: Reports to the Operations Coordinator or designee

Job Description:

Essential Duties:

  1. Teach aerobics and fitness classes to members as assigned
  2. Develop safe routines to maximize optimal impact
  3. Complete in-house orientation and successfully complete initial in-class training
  4. Monitor the class sign in attendance per class
  5. Convey safe healthy fitness and wellness information to members
  6. Monitor cardiovascular room & weight room activities as assigned
  7. Adhere to policies and procedures mandated by the RLTAC
  8. Other duties to be assigned by supervisor



All Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States

*Minimum 1- 3 years of teaching experience teaching or fitness training in a fitness environment

* AFAA or ACE certifications

*Basic aerobics and fitness instructor background

*Current CPR certification

* Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills

* A desire to improve health and fitness through safe and effective exercise leadership

*H.S. diploma preferred.

*Successful CORI and SORI background check.

The position is seasonal and there is no set work schedule. There are flexible hours from Sunday to Saturday. Up to 18 hours per week. On call Schedule for Nights and Weekends.

Compensation: The salary rate is commensurate with the level experience and qualifications of the candidates within the range of $18-$30 per hour.
