Coordinate with faculty on grant projects: monitoring expenditures and budgets, monthly reports of budget balances and expenses to PI, interfacing between PI’s reports and Peoplesoft, processing cash advances and participant payments, purchasing, travel authorization and expense reports for grant PI and grant personnel, monthly IDC transfers, time and effort reports, maintain files of grant expenditures and receipts, collaborate with ASPH research grant office on pre-award budget review.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years business, personnel, grant-in-aid or public administration experience.Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with budgets using Excel or Access; Knowledge of USC Financial systems: Peoplesoft HR/Payroll and Finance Intranet; general knowledge of grant processes and budget management.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook). Ability to gather data, analyze and make accurate decisions. Ability to communicate effectively.
