Description:

The postdoctoral fellow will conduct independent experiments and assume the technical responsibility for studies on bone regeneration in adult mice. This will involve experimental design, all aspects of data collection, data interpretation and preparing the data for publication in peer reviewed journals.


Qualifications:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. PhD degree in Biological Sciences with extensive research experience in biochemistry with developmental biology background.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES TYPICALLY NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY:

1. Strong organizational and management skills

2. Experience with signal transduction and protein chemistry

3. Experience with cell culture, PCR, and molecular techniques such as DNA and RNA isolation

4. Familiar with development and differentiation of organism

5. Proficiency with common laboratory equipment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A PhD. in Biochemistry, or Cell and Molecular Biology.

2. Experience with protein purification, phosphorylation

3. Experience signal transduction

4. Experience in high resolution microscope particularly live imaging
