Responsible for effective use and operation of technologies and systems to support the delivery of services for the Student Affairs Division. Coordinates information management services for the Residence Life & Housing. Evaluates practices and re-engineers processes to improve operations and services. Partners with Computing Services to participate in the evaluation, selection, design, implementation, upgrades and maintenance of current and new systems. Manages technology for Housing/Meal Plans/Door Access/ID processes.
Serves as the primary Power User/Subject Matter Expert for the departments major information systems (software systems include, but are not limited to: CBORD PCS, HMS, ID Works, Ugryd and GET Funds; Johnson Controls door access; and Best Access). Manages operational schedules for these systems.
Insures integrity of information in the systems and that appropriate connections are maintained with other University systems. Coordinates process and information management services for the department and ensures effective use of available systems and resources. Develops and implements solutions for compiling integrated data and developing advanced reports.
Work with the Director to understand the business needs of the department and partners with Computing Services to coordinate IT initiatives including coordination and prioritization of requests for service, planning and coordination of hardware and software selection and upgrades, as well as coordination of network services.
Work with Computing Services for the evaluation, selection, configuration and operation of new technologies to optimize the delivery of services.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required
Two or more years of administrative Residence Life/Higher Education experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task
Self-starter
Completion of successful interview

Preferred Qualifications

Master degree preferred
Two or more years of experience in the use/implementation of technology related programs within Residence Life
Experience with CBORD PCS, HMS, ID Works, Ugryd and GET Funds; Johnson Controls door access; and Best Access)
Experience conducting housing assignments, housing billing, meal plan implementation, electronic key access.
