Assistant Athletic Trainer

Tusculum University is seeking qualified candidates for Assistant Athletic Trainer. This is a full­ time position with benefits. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Head Athletic Trainer with all aspects of the athletic training program and performing other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and/or Athletic Director. The successful candidate will serve as athletic training services provider for one or more NCAA Division II athletic teams (Baseball/Women’s Volleyball, currently and subject to change for 23-24 year). Team travel as well as night, weekend, and holiday work will be required.

Bachelor’s Degree is required. (Master’s Degree is preferred) Qualified applicants will have NATABOC certification and Tennessee licensure (or eligible). Candidate should possess effective time management skills, the ability to handle confidential information, effective oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to serve as a professional role model for athletic training students.
